The days progress into 2009, and I look back on the predictions I told friends from the early 2000s . I realize how very premonitionary my thoughts were then, unto now. There were many things I said, but what stands out the most significantly right now is the financial/economic depressionary state that our economy is currently facing and will continue to face. This was coming all along, and we as Americans were foolish to believe for a moment that we could continue to have everything whenever we wanted. Life if not supposed to be a satisfy me now mentality. It is supposed to be a work for what we have mentality. It makes us appreciate what we have so much more, than the instant gratification situation does. With this fact stated, and the reality behind what was stated then to my comrades, and our realities now, there is another set of circumstances which I believe have also been laid upon me. I understand already what is happening to this nation, and the realities that are coming with this.
The current state of affairs are of great concern to many, and though there are not many people who are currently taking stands, that could and very well may change. I have had many people argue with me on this, but the Founding Fathers of our nation are quoted throughout history telling us what I will mention briefly below. America was once founded on Christian Principles, and the leaders who instilled this nation with its very core principles and freedoms knew that they were faced with the reality that the laws meant to govern this land would only work for a people of faith. With this said, let us take a brief undeniable look at what we see in our land today. Three Hundred Plus years beyond the ideas and realities of our forefathers, the men who realized their mission and their truths, we are no longer the same people. We have taken out of context and to extreme the realities of the Freedom from religious persecution and the fact that government would not have the authority to establish religion as a reason to exclude religion. This was never meant to be, for throughout our historical countrymen there are many and asundery examples of statements surrounding the idea of a need for Christian Leaders for our Christian Nation. To be clear, the laws here would only work to help keep social order and justice in play with the notion that, people believed in God and realized that their individual actions had consequences for their lives in the hereafter. To be honest, religions of many sorts have been useful socially, whether they were actually implemented as a social tool, or the relativity just seemed to help with social structure, as well as, the tone of the land.
So, with this said, I would like to speak directly to the notion that no one seems to care about the foundations of America any longer. I have only heard a couple of politicians, people who are supposed to represent us, who even have an idea of what their job is truly supposed to be, let alone fulfill it. God was asked by our Government, after centuries of being involved to just look the other way or to step aside, as we as a nation, under our laws commit atrocities to our unborn, deny children rights to pray to Him in school, change the underlying principles to accept all religions with complete religious tolerance instead of allegiance to God Almighty, undeniably. To say the least, there are many things that our nation allows, condones, and has put forth to "we the people"....and "we the people" apathetically sat by, either because we thought we could make no difference, so therefore why try, attitudes that we face in society from peers that we choose to allow to affect us, or either the fundamentals of our faith fell by the wayside somewhere. We are not to fear our battles on this earth. Psalms 23 tell us, "Yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me, Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before in the presence of my enemies, Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over, Surely Goodness and Mercy, shall follow me all the days of my life." This particular Psalm is one we are more familiar with than others. Our reality is that as long as we have Jesus helping us through our daily path, helping us to remain close to God, we have this promise. The spiritual warfare wages whether we stand and fight, or apathetically sit back and do nothing. Oddly enough, our nation once plastered God in Government everywhere, and there was a time when the fact was widely accepted, that to be successful in this country, faith or at least attending a religious establishment as a member was of the utmost importance to ensure that successfulness. Gone are the days of our forefathers and gone are the days that Christianity mattered to the lawmakers of this country, as they go about daily destroying the very things that once made our country great. Gone are the days that babies matter during a pregnancy, unless, of course, you intend to keep it. Gone are the days that we can be sure that our capitalistic society will survive all of this government intervention. Gone are the days when we could be sure of our realities from one day unto the next one. Simply said, we are not the same people, and truthfully, we are not longer a nation with the same rights and freedoms as we were guaranteed and promised. Some of them are lost to us forever, but some are worth defending so that our children can have them....to defend, as well.
Who will stand and liberate the 3,000 to 4,000 aborted US Citizens daily in our country. Who will say that this approximate 1.5 million Americans don't deserve the same rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness that "we the people" were promised. We as a nation seem to be all about Freedom and Liberty for all on the surface, but these unborn citizens who die at the hands of doctors and abortion practitioners across this country daily by the droves, don't have rights. They don't have rights because some human being decided they have authority to say what truly is already a being and what isn't. Pro Choice is not what people think it is. Pro Choice is a way to kill children and to help with population control, thereby reducing the responsibility of government to assist with care of children born out of wedlock. Pro Choice is not about women's rights, so to speak, unless the right to commit infanticide is an undeniable, unalienable right. I wonder truly, no I don't ....I know that God doesn't see it that way. I know that when you are given a gift of a child, as a woman, in your womb, and you are blessed with knowing you are carrying a part of yourself, it changes you. It not only changes who you are, who you want to be, but also what you are. To be honest, the changes you go through physically are nothing to the changes you go through mentally when you become a mother. Sadly, those people who are pro choice who use abortion as a form of birth control, are the losers. They also have to live with the knowledge that by their own hands they killed their child or children. That knowledge is sadly one of the most devastatingly haunting parts of the life of person who willingly and knowingly allows a child to stripped from their womb. The reality, years from now of what personal decisions have altered the face of your reality, thereby robbing you of a relationship you could have known but will never know, by personal choice in the moment.
Life is hard. What our nation now faces is hard. We have become a nation of convenience and ease. We are truly a nation who has become spoiled on instant gratification. It is all about what is easy, and I find that ease and convenience are indeed nice but fundamentally flawed. With this said, the most wonderful things and the best things in this world come from “True Grit.” "True Grit" comes from within and standing by one's beliefs and principles are the most important part of "True Grit".
The times are at hand where this nation is at a crossroads, and these particular crossroads are of vast, if not dire consequence to our nation, our fundamental way of life, as we know it, and our Democracy/Republic are at stake. We as a nation are easily apathetic to the point that we sit back and if it doesn't effect us, it is someone else's problem. Oh my how terrible, and then we flip the remote to another channel. OK, well the shocking reality, is...that we as a people have the right to assemble, to protest, to stand against what we feel is fundamentally wrong. IF we don't take a stand, as a people, we won't be able to down the road, because the fundamental Country given rights we all love now, will soon be stripped from us, to the point that we will be denied our stand or fear punishment for it. This is coming, if we allow it to come. If we sit apathetically by, say nothing, fail to voice our opinions, fail on our laurels and morals, this is coming.
Start questioning what you hear, talk to people, believe in America and its rights again, and use those rights now, while you still have them, to make a difference for our children and our grandchildren's sake.
This nation is worth fighting for, but ultimately, if we do not stand and fight, instead of sitting idly by, what we have all allowed ourselves, through the decades, to take for granted, will be stolen from us. I know that many of us just go through our lives with blinders on thinking that nothing really matters unless it affects us personally. This is why our nation is where it is today, is that lack of caring and involvement. Please rethink your stance, because this particularly vulnerable time in our nation, is truly one that can be a breaking point. We are at a tipping point.
God Bless you as you go forth with a new purpose, and God, Please Bless America Again.
